This was taken near the Gadige Tomb, Madikeri (Coorg). This trip was pleasant and filled with many interesting experiences… I enjoyed it thoroughly.
The Elephant Camp at Dubare was a lot of fun, especially for my wife Jessica. From the moment she had stepped in India she wanted to touch an elephant. Here she got the opportunity to get up close and personal with them as they enjoyed their daily bath… she even got to scrub one a little.
The only shortcoming w.r.t photography happened while I was in Namdroling Monastery (Byalukuppe) when my camera’s battery died and I could not take any more pictures. So, I decided to enjoy the prayers of the monks which was quite animated. The sounds felt extremely peaceful to my heart.
