This little girl fascinated me that day. I sat waiting for a smile and hoping she would stop hiding her face behind her uncle. I made a few anticipatory clicks… all of which ended in disaster. But I wasn’t truly aware of that then 
Finally, after making funny faces at this charming girl and hoping she might give me a grin, she gave me this stare while the uncle smiled instead. I went for it and clicked. I loved the way her hand stayed tightly grasping the uncle’s finger as she looked right into the lens.
