Life is a dream in which some things remain still, while others keep moving. There are days when you watch the moving in an attempt to catch some excitement and action. And there are days when you withdraw unto yourself staring into the unmoving.

To sniff the air, to feel the soothing calmness in the hum of the rain plish-ploshing on the roof, to watch the flurry of activities by people and animals alike fleeing for cover and the disgruntled expressions their faces conjure as they try to forget the cold wetness and slush the rain brings.

The world is alive and you in it.
