I met him on the evening of 20 January 2004 at Bababudangiri temple premises. Mischevious and joyful with expressions of a potential superstar… trying to squeeze himself through the grills/bars at the entrance… I grabbed my lens, loaded a new film and shot many frames or so I thought. Well! I screwed up… I found out later in the evening at Gaalikere that the film was not loaded properly and all the shots made would never be 
To my surprise, on the morning of the next day I saw him again… Him and his entire family stormed Gaalikere for a weekend picnic… and the women had come with the baggage of all their household chores while the men came to laze about. (hmm… interesting …stuff like this does not happen much in the city)
So in the end, I was able to get at least a single snap of this fascinating kid as he went about discovering the world through his eyes. Some compensation for my stupidity hehe
