Crevasse crossing | Monochrome | Mountaineering

I was so pissed that I exposed only 11 frames of b/w during the entire course . Due to lack a of luggage space I was forced to leave the second camera behind at the institute. Since I truly wanted to experiment I loaded the monochrome (b/w) film and began the hike to the glacier.

I shot monochrome up until evening and when I saw this… I had to change over and never regained the courage to shift to monochrome film again lest I miss something. Waaaaaah!

All this craziness was because I knew I wouldn’t be able to do something like this again for quite sometime and hence a very high pressure to shoot sensibly.

Considering my brilliant stupidity I am happy that I got at least 11 frames in monochrome ;)

A day will come when I will go into these mountains by myself where I get to follow my own time/ rules instead of a tough army discipline which allowed me no space for such creative pursuits.
