Clicked during Oct - Nov 2004 / Mountaineering (*album)
In the 11/12 days that I spent at base camp in the Dingad Valley, this peak stared in my face everyday, engaging my mind with its daunting architecture and spectacular beauty. I tried in so many ways and so many times, to capture its magnificence on film and failed. Most of my attempts at composition ended by my staring back at this peak with wonder, for no angle seem to do justice. I was awed and sad at the same time…
This is the best among the clicks and it doesn’t even come close in showing the exquisiteness of this (unnamed) peak.
